Each of these ad templates is meant to be edited using

Google Web Designer.

Google Web Designer is a what-you-see-is-what-you-get (WYSIWYG) editor

that excels in creating HTML5 web animations.

If you have no coding experience, not to worry,

this is perfect for you!

(If you are experienced with coding web pages,

you can always use the “Code View”, although this is not necessary.)

For each ad template here, I provide simple instructions that describe

the minimal steps required to make this ad template your own!

All of the ad templates comply with the standard sizes specified by the

Interactive Advertising Bureau.

All ad templates come ready to go as DoubleClick ads.

This package contains three expandable ad templates featuring an ad that

starts off with a small size, and when clicked,

expands to a large size.

Note that both the small and large sizes do conform to one of the IAB standard sizes.

Expandable ads provide a great value proposition,

as the cost to place the advertisement is determined primarily

by its size and position on screen.

By starting with a small ad, but expanding to a larger one,

we get more value for money, as we pay for the smaller initial size.

Expandable ads also create an element of interactivity to your ads,

and are best used when the ads are less of the

“display one thing” variety,

and instead have a more detailed message for the target audience.

• Open in Google Web Designer
